How to get good knee drive is a key factor in running both fast and efficiently. When sprinting high knees are important (as every basic coach will tell you - even if they don't understand why!)
Knee lift is integral to proper running form. From the recovery phase to overstriding, we cover all the basics of knee drive and help you to understand how it will improve your running technique.
Without good knee lift an athlete can't develop a powerful ground contact on landing, which is vital to drive the body forwards and up as we run.
The video forms part of our running technique series, which forms a great tool for making sure you can run as efficiently as possible.
