Uber is helping facilitate the US vaccine campaign by pledging 10 million free or discounted rides to those hoping to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
"One of the things we're trying to do with this is to make sure that a ride isn't the reason you don't get a COVID vaccine, that everybody has access to this," Uber Director of Social Impact Julia Paige said.
Uber, in partnerships with civil rights organisations, is focusing on Black, Latino and Native American populations which have been hardest hit by the pandemic.
The goal is to ensure everyone who wants to receive the vaccine can do so without having to worry about transport.
The offer comes one week after Uber sent letters to all 50 governors, President-elect Joe Biden, and the CDC asking for its drivers to get priority access to the vaccine.
