The fundamentals of asking your teacher, professor, extra-curricular coach, or principal/dean for a letter of recommendation:
***First off, ignore the Imposter Syndrome!***
1) Provide background/context.
2) Explicitly ask them to write the letter of recommendation.
3) Let them know what schools you are applying to.
4) Provide instructions.
5) Attach transcript, resume, etc.
