Banana Wars - how supermarket price wars threaten farmers' futures

In the last 10 years the typical price of a banana in the UK has nearly halved, whilst the cost of production has doubled.
In response to this The Fairtrade Foundation has launched a new campaign Make Bananas Fair asking the UK public to help end the supermarket price wars, including a petition asking the government to urgently step in and investigate the impact of retailer pricing practices.
